Air Travel - How to Book Special Rate Flights

How to Book Special Rate Flights:
To make reservations and claim special discounts online: **
- Go to the website: aircanada.com
- ENTER the BCMA's "Survivor Osoyoos" Promotional Code: FXQMN8D1 in the Search panel.
- ENTER your travel dates, number of passengers, where you will fly from, and “Penticton, British Columbia YYF” as your destination. ***
- CLICK “Search” to view and SELECT your flight options.
CLICK “Continue”.
- Review your itinerary, final quote details, and rules and conditions displayed. CLICK the check box to confirm your acceptance and
CLICK "Continue".
- ENTER your Aeroplan number and password, if applicable, OR
CLICK “Continue as Guest”.
- ENTER your passenger name, trip preferences and contact info. CLICK “Continue”.
- ENTER payment (credit card) information and billing address. RE-TYPE your email address as prompted to generate an electronic ticket and itinerary to the address you specified for presentation at the airport.

Airporter Service Now Available to/from Osoyoos!
Registrants MUST reserve their arrival Airport Shuttle seats when registering for "Survivor Osoyoos". Shuttle service will be operated by Host Committee volunteers from the Penticton Museum, Wednesday thru Saturday, October 14-17, 2009.
Travel time is approximately 45 minutes.
All flights into Penticton Airport route through YVR in Vancouver (even from the East), & have 3 arrival times & 3 departure times at Penticton, daily:

Departure Shuttles will be booked by Registrants thru the Registration Desk at "Survivor Osoyoos" and will leave Osoyoos for the Penticton Airport approximately 1:45 minutes prior to the scheduled flight time.
Cost per Passenger: $10.00 (Cash only, payable to the Driver upon arrival or departure. Receipts available upon request).
BCMA, from completed Registration forms, will prepare Passenger Lists for Shuttle drivers from Penticton, per applicable flight arrivals.

Canadian Museums Association Bursary Program
As a "provincial workshop", this year's "Survivor Osoyoos" qualifies for bursaries from the Canadian Museums Association Bursary Fund
normally reserved for pre-conference workshops.

BCMA's Travel Assistance Bursary Program
For "Survivor Osoyoos", the BCMA will offer a limited number of $250.00 travel assistance bursaries to current BCMA Institutional, Individual & Student members.
To Apply:
1. Write to the BCMA to formally request a Travel Assistance Bursary;
2. Include in your letter a brief budget statement listing your Registration
fees; travel & accommodation expenses & a projected Total Cost.
Please indicate any & all other confirmed bursaries or financial
assistance you will receive to participate at "Survivor Osoyoos";
3. Submit your application by the deadline (postmarked no later than)
