Support BCMA's Endowment Fund Campaign!
Each year at the provincial Conference, BCMA conducts both a two-day Silent Auction in conjunction with the Trade Show, and a Live Auction as part of the Awards Banquet to raise funds for BCMA's Travel Assistance Bursary Fund. Auction items are donated by member museums, art galleries and heritage institutions throughout BC, local, provincial and national Conference sponsors, exhibiting Trade Show suppliers and individual artists.
Traditionally, auction items offer a variety of fabulous trips, supplier products, gift shop samples, reference and historical publications and works of fine art.
THIS YEAR, with the emergence of a newly funded travel & registration assistance being introduced with Conference 2008, ALL Silent and Live auction proceeds will benefit BCMA's continuing Endowment Fund Campaign, and help match the $50,000 approved this summer by the Vancouver Foundation, under the BC Arts Renaissance Fund. The BCMA Endowment Fund will help support learning and training opportunities.
