Site Visits & Regional Tours Updated: November 18, 2011
Your Institution Can Offer Site Visits & Tours!
Museums, art galleries, historic sites and heritage properties throughout the host Conference region are annually invited to offer BCMA Conference participants tour and gift shop incentives during their stay.
The Host Hotels often extend their special BCMA rates for three days prior to Conference and three days after Conference to allow participants and visitors extra time to better experience the cultural diversity and richness of this diverse and explorable region of British Columbia.
There are a number of ways to reach Conference participants:
Propose a special tour package, (which will be posted to this webpage & promoted province-wide on BCMA listservs)
Delegate bag flyers &/or redeemable vouchers
Exhibit booth (Share one with other local attractions!) in the Conference Trade Show
Business card advertisements in the Delegates' Program (on-site version)
BC Reports presentation at the BC Reports Reception,
BCMA members and registrants carry their own, personalized BCMA Member GO Card they can show for discounts on admission or gift shop prices. This is an easy way to recognize BCMA members without the time and cost of producing "special offer" flyers or vouchers!
If your Institution has not already
completed and returned the
Memorandum of Understanding
(MOU) with your Institutional or
Associate Membership
application or renewal as to how
to honour the BCMA Member GO
Card, you can do so now!
Watch this webpage and the BCMA listserv for announcements and
updates on Tour Packages and special promotions for Conference
participants and visitors.
